Over the years we have developed our own technique for creating ‘watermarks’ which allows us to produce smaller and more practical quantities, starting from as little as 1000 A4 sheets, compared to the traditional method in paper mills where two tons (equating to around 160,000 sheets) is the minimum order. We use a chemical process that allows the design to be seen on and through the paper, achieving very similar results to that of a ‘true’ watermark.
Watermarking is an increasingly popular option for many clients and offers a range of benefits, from adding an extra aesthetic quality to your branding, to providing an important security printing feature. This is particularly crucial for financial documents, auction and jewellery valuations along with authenticity or award certificates.
When our watermarking is combined with some of our other specialist techniques such as engraved print (embossed), holographic foil blocking and letterpress printing (indented) we are able to add a highly sophisticated level of security to your stationery. In today’s climate of high quality reproduction this is very much valued by our clients.
