Writing paper and Correspondence Cards

This pack contains samples of all our standard papers and card, ink colours and type face styles, as well as an Options & Price List together with an Order Form and Freepost return envelope.

Materials - We stock a wide selection of high quality papers and card. Our stock colours are White Wove (smooth), Sky Blue Wove (Smooth), Soft Cream Wove (smooth), and Off-White Laid (textured), these are all available with matching diamond flap envelopes. We can offer alternative colours and textures to make your stationery more unique, these would require bespoke envelopes and can be quoted for separately - please contact one of your Stationery Advisors for further information.

Print Processes - We offer the three principal print techniques; the first and best quality is engraving (fine embossed print), we will engrave a copperplate which is then your property, we can store this for you or return the engraved plate with your stationery if required. We also offer thermography, another form of raised printing, this is cheaper than engraving and has a slightly glossy finish, laser-proof thermography is available for those wishing to print using a laser printer. The third and cheapest print process is litho or flat printing.

Ink Colours - Our standard printing colours are Black, Navy Blue, Red and Green. We can also print in a colour of your choice for a small extra charge, you can either advise a Pantone colour reference (universal system of colours) or send in a sample of the colour for our factory to match to as closely as possible.

Fonts - Downey offers 16 typeface styles as standard (a sample of each is in our Personal Stationery pack) but if you have a particular font you would like to use please let our Stationery Advisors know, we may have this in stock or may need to purchase for an additional charge.
