Paper and Card sizes

While many people have adopted the International A sizes for their personal stationery (those working from home may prefer more conventional Business sizes), many more have retained a preference for the traditional Imperial sizes - finding them both more attractive and more convenient to use. Details of Imperial size papers and International A size papers are illustrated below. For all of the following sizes Downey stock matching envelopes with gummed diamond flaps:

Sizes for Writing paper:

  • A4 Size (297 x 210mm)
  • A5 Size (210 x 148mm)
  • Post Quarto - 9" x 7" (228 x 178mm)
  • Kings - 8" x 6 1/4" (204 x 160mm)

Sizes for Correspondence Cards:

  • Half Kings - 4" x 6 1/4" (102 x 160mm)
  • Duke - 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" (89 x 140mm)
