Aug '08 - Watermarked Stationery

One of the unique services offered by Downey & Co is bespoke watermarking for stationery.

We can add bespoke 'watermarks' onto your letterheadings which is great not only for security reasons (for banks, auction houses etc.), it is also a subtle way of introducing corporate branding into the overall design of your stationery. Downey use a special chemical process which enables us to add 'watermarks' which look the same as regular watermark designs when holding up to a light.

With the recent and sad news regarding the closure of Curtis Fine Papers in St Andrews Scotland, an institution in the UK for paper making and watermarked paper, Downey is keen to help any clients with Watermarking enquiries big or small. The unique process offered by Downey means we can produce watermarked stationery in much lower numbers than a conventional paper mill, from 1000 to 30,000 sheets is absolutely fine, with 90-120gsm being the ideal range for paper thickness.
